On Saturday a week ago I took my blackberry to Vodacom Westgate as the middle button / scroll button is not working. The phone itself is fine, its just the scroll button. I received a sms during last week to say I can go and collect my phone. I went to collect my phone on Saturday and was told its 'beyond repair'. When I asked why they could not tell me exactly only 'it could be water of physical damage'. I know for a fact its definitely not water or physical damage. I was told they could have fixed my phone if I had insurance. Its not my fault the middle button / scroll is not working and the phone is still under warranty. I am completely upset about this. Not that's it was enough upsetting I still had to pay the assessment fee for a phone which (according to them) is beyond repair. This is really ridiculous!!! My mom had the same problem with her blackberry and MTN had not problem fixing it!!!
