The 19 of Jan2013 we engaged in correspondence with MTN to resolve our slow to no internet access. We were met with standard system generated emails and when we phoned we were passed from one department to another (webmaster would say to call data coverage and they refer us back) AFter a month of battling, i phoned again and my call was answered by a customer service agent who was able to assist me. he fixed the problem and we enjoyed 2 FULL weeks of excellent internet service with amazingly fast speeds. Unfortunatly that was only for those 2 weeks. Everything went back to square 1! On Monday the 15th of April i logged a query. 1st response was a system generated message, 2nd response (received the 18th) was mtn webmaster saying i must phone datacoverage!! HERE WE GO AGAIN! They will just tell me there is no problem with coverage in that area and then refer me back to webmaster. I am honeslty very tired of being ripped off as a consumer with nothing we can do at all about receiving such bad service BUT we are held to our contracts and have to pay every single month. What about their side of the contract? which entails providing the service they get paid for?
