2nd April I take my dead Nokia lumia920 to Vodacom Repair Outlet at 107A bullion Blvd Richards Bay (see latest list from Vodacom) Shop is closed. Notice in window says go to 4u or Vodacom in Boardwalk Centre. Long wait 4U, bad attitude, tells me I must hand my phone in at Vodacom Empangeni. Back to Empangeni, another long wait. Better attitude and an apology from Monique. 17th April my phone comes back. Long wait to collect. No help in checking if it works. Note from workshop says found nothing wrong. Phone says sim card does not work. Back to queue, long wait proper bad attitude from Leandrie suggesting I dont know what I am doing. True. That is why we pay for service! Am I missing something here?
Looking at the number of complaints on this website about Vodacom, I would suggest they have a very serious problem. After 17 years I think it is time to change. I hear MTM is far better.
