I must have been stupid to take a S3 with virgin

Wow. Samsung S3 eats data like there is no tomorrow.
As Virgin mobile does not offer data bundles. you lose airtime (money) like there is no end.

I moved over from a blackberry to a Samsung S3 as a lot of my friends did, only diffrence is that they are with other network providers. With Virgin i got only 250 meg with my contract. that was used up by the 15th. On the 16th i lost almost R200 in one night due to gprs. I tested it today, costs about R10 a hour if you do whatsapp and emails on your phone. Crazy.

I must say that i was happy previously with virgin and their service, but taking a Samsung with them was totally stupid off me due to the cost implications and Virgin not capable of giving proper data with their contracts.

I friend of mine is getting his S3 with me and after asking me about it i recomended 8ta as the give a gig free data. Very nice 8ta.

All i can say is if anyone wants a Samsung S3 take it anywhere except at Virgin Mobile.
Virgin mobile is fine for a normal phone. A smart phone with them is totally insane.

Today i am getting a prepaid data sim for my S3 and it will cost me a lot less.
