Poor service and faulty Item

Upgraded on the Virgin Mobile contract about a month or so back.. Received a Samsung Galaxy Fame, which firstly I had to drive to the CCD courier services in Witkoppen and pick the phone up myself???
I am a big fan of Samsung, but considering change of brands :(
Secondly, I have been with the Virgin brand for almost 6 years, and this was the best upgrade I was offered for being with them this long??? Pathetic!
Its a beautiful looking phone only, but it decides to reject my Virgin Mobile Sim card, and then switches itself off every 5 mins. Advice, should I throw the phone away???
Seriously Considering moving to another mobile network, with better benefits???
