MTN "Credit limit reached" not possible

Hi

My cell phone's service has been suspended for the past 3 weeks. For 3 weeks now I have been struggling to get my service reinstated. When calling the MTN helpline, I am told that I have reached my credit limit. I ask the person on the other side of the phone, "How much money do I owe MTN? " They then say, "only the normal monthly deduction, which is R677, which will be deducted on the 2nd of the month". I then ask "so why is my credit twice that then? It's at R1354 now. And my credit limit is R1400." An argument then ensues. I ask them "If I don't owe MTN anything, why is my phone suspended? " Then the argument starts all over again. They keep saying "If you only raised your credit limit, your service will be reinstated." I REFUSE, because in 8 years that I have had this cell contract at MTN, this has never happened. Each month the R677 gets deducted via debit order. Absolutely no debit deductions have bounced, EVER. My phone service was suspended on 25th March. It has been 23days that I have been unable to make any calls. 23days!! I want all the costs for this entire month to be refunded to me, since MTN has not provided ANY service to me during this period, I/A/W CPA law.
