Truworths repeatedly asked me to sign that I do not want a credit increase and still allowed me to buy over my credit limit by R2000!
Their argument is that it is my responsibility to check my purchases to see when the credit limit has been reached, however, Foschini, Milady's and Edgars always advise if our limits are reached.
While I will pay this account off, I most certainly won't purchase from Truworths again and wonder how many other people are being exploited this way.
Their empty promises of taking this to court is most frustrating as I wonder also what a judge would say about their practice.
