My daughter was due for a cellphone upgrade end of Jan 2013. We went into Cellucity, Bedford Centre and she wanted to change from a Blackberry to a Samsung. The whole process when smoothly until I checked my accounts today which reflect that we have been charged for Blackberry BIS R59.00 for Feb, Mar, Apr even though she has now got a Samsung. We were also NOT informed that we would be charged per month for our handset - R50 over an above the R229 for the Smart Standard 229 Subscription. So we are in effect paying R1200 for the phone - it's not free with the contract as well. What a rip-off! I am furious!!! to say the least :( And my daughter spends far too much on data (as BIS was obv a different story with the blackberry) so it's just a very expensive excercise! And nobody warned us. Bad of Vodacom if you ask me.
