Failure to activate my cellphone upgrade

I ordered a contract upgrade with Vodacom online. The application was done over phone. The first Samsung galaxy note 2 arrived via courier on the 1st of Jan. I was told I can do the sim swap over the phone by the sales person, which after holding on for 45min only to find out that this service is only available to prepaid customers. Why can't the voice prompts just give you this information?
I then took the phone to the Vodacom shop at Fourways mall on the 2nd of Feb 2012. They performed the sim swap. Sim was still not working day later, so I took it to Vodacom Greenstone. They suggested I return it. I then waited for the new phone to arrive. Same story, not reading sim card.

Back to Vodacom 4Ways the following Saturday the 9th. Turns out nobody bothered to activate the sim on the 4G network. Finally it worked (LTE off). Checked my account online; they are still billing me as if I 'm on the Blackberry contract. I rused 300mb of data over the weekend, and got charged R2/mb for this. Turns out nobody migrated my account from the Blackberry to the Samsung device 229 smart standard with a promised 1gb of extra data? Told I must use old phone until they sort out migration of contract!
