Vodacom Smart Light 75
I upgraded my cell phone contract to the Smart Light 75 package. Since then I noticed 2 questionable actions on the package.
1. The package came with 20 promotional anytime minutes only to Vodacom numbers.
When I phone during off-peak time to a vodacom number, my 20 anytime minutes are used first, instead of my 75 off-peak minutes.
This is unethical fine print, which I have not seen anywhere.
2. Any unused SMSes and data expire at the end of the month. That is fine.
However I noticed that this expires already in the early morning of the last day of the month, instead off at the end of the day at 11:59pm.
Once again, this is unethical.
I have been a vodacom subscriber for 15 years. I did not expect this from them, They should be ashamed.
I will be moving to Cell-C when my contract expires.
