Lack of knowledge, long queue time, charged

My phone is the Galaxy S3. The screen on the phone is displaying incorrectly. Before sending phone in for service, I tried to back up my phone to both Mac and/or PC using the Kies progamme but it didnt work because our technician said there was a problem with the phone software. Initially the Vodacom Customer Care centre said they cant back up Galaxies as they only have this software for Blackberries and Nokia
...are you being serious? Finally a consultant in Data Customer Care said he could backup for me so that I didnt lose information but requested that I bring a memory stick the next day. I did so, only to be charged R149 for the backup despite the fact that I only purchased the phone in August 2012, it is still under warranty and yet cant upload onto Kies like all other working phones. The queue took 20 minutes on day 1 and on day 2, after consultant took 15 minutes to store my complaint on her system, she had to redo the complaint write-up as it didnt save on her pc. During lunch hour, which is the busiest period especially in a corporate environment, there were only 3 consultants which resulted in a queue of 10 people waiting behind me for my 30 minute turn. Wow Vodacom???
