I have to tell MTN and all who cares to know that the MTN branch in the Cresta mall, next to Wimpy that I believe I have been deliberately done in by wrongly being given a different contract from the one I have had for the last 15years with MTN. I went to do my upgrade and I told the guy, I don't mind paying the monthly subscription, but I want to keep the same contract that I have always had - which is an open line - we did everything, he gave the document to me to sign, which I did. Only to find out exactly 2 weeks later that I could not make or receive calls. I drove all the way to MTN Cresta raging, only to find out that the guy had loaded a 350 top up contract on my phone. I never asked for that. Now they tell me that to rectify it they are going to have to request a migration that will take 3 months. This! I believe MTN deliberately does this to cheat customers! Why the will I suddenly change an open line contract of 15years to a 350 top up?? I did not ask for that - he should have explained better because he is the one who knows the product. Why should I wait 3 months to rectify a mistake made by their MTN staff?? MTN should be accountable for it!!!
