I have just experienced a very embarrassing moment where I ran out of airtime. When I phoned the customer care line, I was informed that I am being billed for data (downloading). This was new to me because I have never been billed for data because I'm on a blackberry top up contract where downloading and browsing is free and always maintained an airtime balance in excess of R300.
Why was I not informed about changes made and if there was changes made then it's breach of contract because I have not entered into a new agreement since 03 August 2011 which will only expire on 03 August 2013. The contact centre argued with me saying I have always been charged for data (downloading); something I know isn't true. Please clarify asap!!
