Contract Service Misrepresentation

In have signed for a 3G Databundle Contract at the Cresta Store. I was not informed that the contract is a so called Open Line and thus received a R1400.00 bill. I have queried this now for approx 4-months and requested a copy of the contract. MTN responded:

Thank you for taking time to raise your concerns with MTN.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Kindly note that upon signing the contract it states whether the package is an open line or a top up package.

If the deal you signed for is a top up, then you would need to provide with a copy of the contract so that we can rectify the error.

I again requested MTN Cresta to obtain a copy of the contract and despite promises which are recorded on cellphone, nothing has materialized so far. I am stunned that MTN HQ can give me the answer as noted above without checking the facts themselves as they are the HQ.
