As a client of Vodacom who have had an account at Vodacom for many, many years now. I am deeply disappointed. I have had a talk 500 account for a few years now. My account is linked to my husband's account, which is also a talk 500. I had to upgrade March 2012, but only upgraded November 2012, because I couldn't decide which cellphone model to choose from. When I wanted a Samsung S3, the sales lady at the branch told me that according to the computer system, I must pay R1300.00 if I want a Samsung S3 and R2300 for an iphone. I decided that I do not want to pay that amount and chose a Samsung S2 instead The same was told to a friend of mine who also had to upgrade and had exactly the same contract as mine. One month later, she could get the Samsung S3 for FREE and that the S2 is off the market. I feel that the saleslady (who also had no idea) could at least provide me this info at the time. Which is worse, is now I cannot find any accessories for my phone, because the only manufacture acc for the S3. I already filed a complaint on 10 Dec 2012 (ref nr 0013Ba8BFRE1BARV), but no word back.
