I recently upgraded my cell phone contract with MTN I previously had a Nokia N8 and upgraded on 7 December 2012. I initially wanted an Apple iPhone 4S, the lady convinced me to take a SAMSUNG S3 instead as she had the same phone and said it was better than the iPhone. I agreed. Three months later the phone would not charge and it would reset itself at least three times a day. I returned the phone on 15 March 2013. I explained what was wrong and the lady said they will book it for warranty assessment, she guaranteed me it would take 5 days maximum. I was told that no one had returned the phone before and that it was only mine, as I had fiddled with the phone. On 25 March I called MTN and they said the people who are to assess the phone can not find it as they cannot track the phone and can't find it. It is unacceptable as I pay a lot of money for the phone and to be without it is inexcusable as if I was to wit-hold payment for a month they'll be very upset. I think my next contract will be with vodacom they might be pricier but their service is satisfactory and they at least give you a hire phone and are honest. I am bitterly dissapointed and will definately not renew my cont
