Called Vodacom at 16h40 to cancel contract.. Told to call cancellations on another number which I did. They are open until 17h00. Was told to hold for a consultant which I did until 17h05. They did not answer and it is obvious that the staff had decided to go home early but did not switch over to recorded message to say they were closed. 17 minutes wasted holding for non-existant staff who are paid to work until 17h00. Needed to cancel one of my contracts but will now cancel the other one just as soon as it is up for renewal. I am sure MTN or Cell-C can do better.
