I have been trying to get through to Vodacom since Monday 2nd September 2013 to cancel a contract which expires on 3rd October 2013. I only get as far as giving the cell number concerned and confirming that it is correct. thereafter you hold for 35minutes at a time and then gets cut off. I have also phoned the normal 082 111 number and asked the people their who advised me that the cancellations dept is extremely busy I must just hold on. On Friday a consultant was extremely helpful and she took message and said she would get them to call me to date no phonecall. I would like to advise Vodacom via Hello Peter that this contract expires on 3rd October and if I am debited thereafter for the number in question 076 791 0578 i will see an attorney as I feel this is the most rediculous thing i have had to deal with. How can the cancellations dept be so busy that for 9days a person can not get through (must be a lot of people cancelling their contracts???) in fact on calling the 082 111 once during my struggle I made a joke with one of the consultants and said it seems as though Vodacom service is so bad that is why so many people cancel contracts and he still replied yes
