I HAVE LAYED A REPORT AGAINST MTN PREVIOUSLY WHEN THEY REFUSED TO REPAIR MY PHONE AND WAS CONTACTED AFTER A WEEK. REQ:1871619
I HAVE GIVEN MY PHONE IN FOR REPAIRS 3 WEEKS NOW AND THEY PROMISED ME BECAUSE OF LAYING THE REPORT ON HERE THAT MY PHONE WILL BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED WITHIN THE 3 WEEKS AND I WILL GET IT THIS WEEK. UP TILL NOW I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT GETTING MY PHONE BACK.
TODAY I DECIDED TO CALL THE REPAIR CENTRE AND THE CONSULTANT ADVISES ME THAT THEY ARE STILL WAITING FOR STOCK OF THE PHONE FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS, HOW CONVENIENTLY.
THEN I ASKED HIM IF THEY GIVING ME A NEW PHONE, THE STORE CAN GIVE IT TO ME AND YOU CAN SEND THAT TO THE STORE. SIMPLE AND EASY. HE THEN TELLS ME THE REPAIR CENTRE IS GIVING ME A PHONE THAT WAS PUT TOGETHER WITH PARTS FROM DIFFERENT PHONES.
IS THIS WHY WE PAY A HEAVY MONTHLY FEE FOR THIS SERVICE AND FOR ANOTHER DAMAGED PHONE?? I THINK ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE CONTRACTS NEED TO KNOW HOW YOUR WARRANTY WORKS.
I WILL NOT ACCEPT A "REFURBISHED" PHONE AND I WARN YOU TO ASK YOUR REPAIR CENTRE NOT TO GIVE ME ONE. I WILL NOT TAKE SOMEONE ELSES DAMAGED PHONE AND THEN HAVE TO GIVE IT IN FOR ANOTHER 3 WEEKS FOR REPAIRS.
