Cellphone, No Insurance - Tough!

I am just appalled and disgusted by the terrible service and attitude from Vodacom. As someone who between my husband and I have 7 contracts, including our work mobiles, and after being with Vodacom for over 10yrs, am really tempted to change networks! My cellphone was together with my bag, and after geting it blocked etc I went into the Vodacom store in Sandton City (upper level). I enquired about the possibility of a premature upgrade as I did not insure the phone, and would be damned if I paid for a phone I didnt have. A very rude, unprofessional and unpleasant consultant by the name of Sibusiso "assisted" me. And between yawning and cracking jokes with his workmates, I was basically told that "you dont have insurance, too bad, there's nothing we can do". I am beyond disgusted with this terrible experience, as I have only every used Vodacom. Now when I really need assistance, in light of a crime, I get met by a bunch of unprofessional, and just a "NO" and "Too Bad." I demand that this matter be looked at and someone senior get back to me regarding my options, given my mobile phone. Or I will be taking this up through the consumer protection act.
