I have had a really bad experience with Altech Netstar in the time I have had my car I have had 2 units in a space of like 4 years!!! First time my unit stopped working I called had it tested I was told that it's the battery as the unit battery should be changed every 2 years... I went and spent the money on changing my battery, about a year later it stopped working again I called in and was told that my unit is old and needs to be changed as it has a life of like 4 years!!! Why DID they Not tell me this When I changed my battery??? Because I would have not spent the money on a new battery and just fitted a new system one time!!! My unit was not working so I had no choice but to replace the unit!!! The unit I have now is about a Year old ONLY and look again its not working!!! I called in and was told they need to re-set the unit it never worked.
So I sent a mail to Netstar they guy assisted me, but my issue was not resolved. I didn't even get a call back to see if its working now. Its been a week since and still nothing!!! My Debits did not stop tho! And the monthly subscription has increased now!!! What will happen if my car is in this window???
