How long should I wait?

So after deciding to move away from Vodacom I ordered a phone through Cell C Direct, I got my phone this morning and over joyed I phoned Cell C to activate my sim card. 15 minutes later on the line I'm still waiting for someone to answer, was it the wrong decision to move away from Vodacom?
