Bad network

For the past few months I have been experiencing bad a 3G connection in my area (Ferndale, Randburg) and that causes my phone battery to drain extremely fast, as it constantly reconnects to the network. And even when connected, the speed is ridiculously slow. I have called the customer service more than twice and they never got back to me after their "48 hours" turnaround time (try never). Really considering porting to a more stable network (fed up).
