Vodacom
Self help rather than call in for help

Today 20/03/2013 at around 11am, i phoned the vodashop who refered me to the 082155 data care line, where i spoke to lindy for over 15 minutes. The problem was logging into the Blackberry Desktop software, they were asking for my device pin. i tried so many times and my chance to get it right were slimming down. Lindy couldnt assit and gave me incorrect info. She had to ask her supervisor Tryphosa who said i have to go in to the vodashop, who i just explained refered me to the data care line.

After much frustration, begging for someone there with kowledge, inadequate service and knowledge, i googled for the answer, and i got it in less than a minute (in comaprison to 2 useless phonecalls to vodacom and nearly physically going into vodacom shop)

So for anyone who wants to know the answer to finding the PIN to log into your device on Blackberry desktop -If your PIN is 1234 then you must use the alphabet keys - 1234 = wers (thats the ANSWER)

Now if only Vodocom staff uses some inititaive or at least Vodacom would reimburse customers for using there own inititaive or decides to offer employment to clever people?
