Vodacom customer care call centre no service

Last Saturday morning 2nd March 2013 I was experiencing problems with my data card (Vodacom sim) and went up to the local Vodacom shop (Columbine Crossing) to ask for assistance. The staff in the shop were unable to help and referred me to Vodacom's customer care line 082 111. After repeated attempts to get through on this line and holding on for no less than 30 minutes on 3 different attempts I finally gave up on Vodacom customer service as a badly run, understaffed and incompetent operation, customer non-service is more like it! Pathetic at best, disgusting at worst! Fire someone and employ a few people who care and are interested in sorting this problem out - even the staff at the Vodashop said they have to hold on for up to an hour to get hold of anyone at the call centre, It just plain stinks of typical "I don't care" attitude shown by money grabbing corporates who are quick to take your cash but slow to provide any kind of after sales service. I will never buy another Vodacom product again and will definitely stick to MTN, CellC or any other service provider.
