I have taken out a contract for a Blackberry Curve 9320 Smartphone that was advertised for R259.00 in the February 2013 brochure (p12). It includes BIS (before the change in BIS on 1st of MArch 2013). Two days after my husband have signed the contract I phoned to ask if the contract has been approved and they told me yes but that they cant activate it. On the 1st of March the BIS was changed to 200MB per month for all phones. After two weeks they phoned me to say that they have my phone and that they will activate it. I said to them that I dont want the white phone but the nblack one. So they did not have stock and I waited till on the 10th of MArch before I could get the phone.
The phone was activated with 200MB not the BIS that was advertised on the brochure. This is not what I have signed for and also the contract changed from R259 to R260 as in the March brochure and not in the February one. This is not what i have signed for. The people at the Paarl branch is unwilling to assist me. The activation was delayed so that they could change my BIS to a 200MB data allocation. This is a rip off!
