Though assured by the service consultant, I was in fact not migrated to the top-up package as applied for in regard to March billing. I have no intention of paying the resulting R874.43 amount to MTN because:
I was told that the switch would be made and effective within 48 hours from the date that I lodged the migration application (I sent the migration application to the service consultant as instructed on 11 February 2013 and have the item in my 'sent' folder)
I was told (assuredly, on more than one occasion) that I would be billed for the top-up package in the end of March bill
Through that which was told to me, the service consultant gave me the impression - on behalf of MTN - that I could readily expect a much lower bill than R874.43 by end March.
In light of the above, I thank you for the sincere effort I trust will be made to escalate my query to the level/person/s required in order to quickly resolve it according to what was in effect, promised to me by the service provider. I will wait 24 hours (from the time of logging this query) for resolution.
