Received a big data bill once and the solution according to Vodacom was put a limit on your account! So that's what I did as the 3g card is being used by a Teenager put a limit of R50 .Received my bill this month to find that the total is R900. Called the customer care service and spoke to a gentleman called Trevor. He said the limit could not kick in because once you have connected THEY can cut you off. So what the is the point of having a limit then? Then he said I should not complain because its a free service to put a limit on your account. This is not meeting the expectations of the consumer act! If I put a limit on something as a client I am trying to tell the company THAT'S ALL I can pay you! if I had a prepaid 3g plan and bought 100Meg would Vodacom conveniently let the kid surf the net until he decides to disconnect even if it had to reach something like 3gigs? I think not!!
