When I took out my data contract almost 2 years ago, I asked if there was a way to limit my usage so that I wouldn't get a scary bill...

Vodacom said that you can add a call limit to the account and it will lock when you reach the call limit.

So I set my call limit and carried on...

Today I received a bill... R1000 extra for data...

I was notified that I had reached 90% of my data usage and expected it to be cut off... now it appears it was not cut off... but allowed to rack up R1000 (20x the call limit) worth of usage...

So now, the question is... what's the point of allowing your customers to set call limits if you're not going to honour them?
