Vodacom - customer loyalty means zippo

I have 5 months to go before my next upgrade, but my BB is now on the fritz and i don't have insurance. i would like to do a premature upgrade, but my monthly spend is 'too low'? I have been a loyal Vodacom subscriber for 17.5 years... so surely, that should count for something, or so i think.

It is impossible to get hold of any form of management at Vodacom. Call centre after call centre, all i hear is that the 'computer says no'.

Please can someone in management give me a call to tell me that 17.5 years of loyalty means zippo and that i can cancel my contract at the end of Oct and go to CellC or MTN.
