TAKES FOREVER - NO SIM SWAP

My cellphone was on Saturday. I blocked my SIM card immediately and proceeded to gather the information needed by MTN in order to do a SIM swap. I got together an affidavit, copy of my ID, and a letterhead stating I request a SIM Swap. I went to the Cedar Square MTN store to hand in my info. I was assured all was fine and I would be connected on Monday. Monday came and went and Tuesday when I went into the store Dprah told me she received an email requesting further info from me but she was so busy she didn't have time to let me know.. WHAT?
She then tells me she needs a VAT number - I AM NOT A VAT REGISTERED COMPANY!!! Something that MTN should know as when I first applied for my cellphone through the business they took my CC documents. Then 5 hours later they come back and tell me I need to give my CCreg number. I did this yesterday at 3:30pm. I have still heard anything and am not connected. This is my business phone and I do not have any way of communicating with my clients. I NEED TO GET CONNECTED but nobody knows when. I will NOT renew my contract with MTN when it is up and I WILL move to another service provider. I am sick of this!!
