3G ROUTER SLOWER THAN MY GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER

I have a 3G Broadband Vodafone Router - R201 on Contract and this service is useless. I had my PC checked and re-loaded to see if the problem is on my PC but the Router/modem is still slow. I even have a problem sometimes that the signal is only edge. A lot of times there is a connection problem because there is no signal then. I do live in a 3G zone according to the Vodacom Map. Why must I pay for this service if I can not use this service. I know Vodacom will look for the problem on my side but recently the network is overloaded and useless because it takes for ages to open a website and then it does not display images not even to speak about playing a video clip. More and more People is using the net and the networks stay as is. I can not pay for a service that I can not use.
