Back to the 20th century with Neotel

In January I complained on HelloPeter about Neotel that I went to exchange my 3rd cordless Neotel phone for the same problem, a faulty speaker, and was told I had to buy a new phone as the 1 year warranty period was over. Several weeks later a Neotel representative called me to apologise and tell me that the warranty is actually for 2 years and they would replace the phone with a different unit as the cordless ones were all problematic. It was eventually replaced about 10 days ago, with a clumsy and big old desktop unit, the same as what I had bought 5 years ago before my cordless. It has the last owners details on and no-one knows the pass code for me to erase contacts, etc in one go. Neotel didn't even bother to reset the unit before they gave it to me. Furthermore, the battery is finished so as soon as one unplugs the unit it dies. Very disappointing Neotel. Instead of giving me the new type cordless to replace my previous cordless, you give me an old, used desktop. You are no better than Telkom.
