MTN has renamed its existing BIS package to "BlackBerry Absolute". This means that MTN will cap you at 200MB on all BIS/BES services.

Once customers have depleted their data allocation, they will stay connected to BIS by either using their Internet bundle or getting charged directly from their airtime balance. The new plan includes a 200MB fair usage policy.

Fair Use Policy?! What a load of rubbish! For all these years we've paid our R59.00 BIS/BES fee & now we are being capped just because MTN feel like they are losing out on the bundled internet packages? And we must STILL pay the BIS/BES fee regardless??? And why is it that this is only being implemented in South Africa?

Take a stand people, which networks or port your number to another network. MTN will feel the wrath of us consumers and lose millions on contracts.
