I called Cell C on 3/3 as the new Blackberry 10 service was activated last week on my 8520. No where does it state that this service is not compatible with other phones besides for the new Z10. They allow R39 to be deducted knowing that it is not compatible with any other phone. They should specify that BB 10 is not compatible with any other besides the Z10 instead of just deducting the money for a service you can't use. I asked the agent I spoke to to have his supervisor contact me because I think it's unfair that I wanted to activate the new service without them declaring it's only for the Z10. I told the agent that as a consumer I would also rather activate a new service and try that out if they offer it on *147# than go for the old services.

I then called Blackberry support again today (6/3) as no one called me back and was told the service can be deactivated and I can be refunded but only customer services can do that. I then spoke to a customer service agent who advised that they can't - conflicting advice!!

The matter has now been escalated and I am hoping for some results as I am unable to use the phone with BB 10. Cell C should make consumers aware BB10 is only for Z10!
