Kindly note that we have received a Quote of R2070.00 for the repairs of your device as the damage to the charger point voids the warranty. Kindly advice if MTN should proceed with the repairs?

I have another blackberry with the same battery, and I switched the phone batteries around, and wala!! my phone is working again. Why am I quoted R2070.00 as the charger point is not damaged but the battery... Sounds like someone wants to pull a fast one!!
