Cancellation of contract

I have had my virgin mobile contract for many years and have been on a month to month for the last 2 years and I tried to cancel in October last year for the first time. They told me their systems were down and I had to call a number from my mobile which I did. I had no joy. I went back to the pavilion and they told me to fax a letterhead with the cancellation to a jhb number which I did with no luck. I went back again and spoke to another lady who was very rude to me in January. At that point, she picked up the phone and phoned an agent who was very v rude and said my contract was now cancelled. It is now march and I have been debited every month since my cancellation. I do not know what to do anymore. I will never ever use virgin mobile again and will have to go to my lawyer and also cancel the debit order.
