I HAVE TELEPHONICALLY CANCELLED MY VIRGIN MOBILE CONTRACT ON 11 JANUARY 2013, WITH 30 DAYS NOTICE PERIOD. VIRGIN REF. NO: 4455551. I DEMANDED A WRITTEN CONFIRMATION FROM VIRGIN, CONFIRMING THE CANCELLATION, AS THE PREVIOUS VIRGIN MOBILE CONTRACT WHICH I CANCELLED WAS BILLED FOR 3 MONTHS AFTER THE EFFECTIVE CANCELLATION DATE - TO DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY MONEY BACK FROM VIRGIN!
I WAS PROMISED THE SAID LETTER WITHIN 48 HOURS.
TO NO SURPRISE THE SAID LETTER / MAIL WAS NOT SENT WITHIN 48 HOURS, AND PROBABLY WILL NOT BE SENT SOON. THIS IS A COMMON PRACTISE BY VIRGIN AS THEY STRUGGLE TO SURVIVE WITH THEIR TOTALINCOMPETANCY, AND TAKE - ON AN ILLEGAL MANNER AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY POSSIBLY CAN TO MAKE UP FOR THEIR LOSS OF CUSTOMERS.
THEY WILL PROMISE TOI ASSIST, THEN AFTER A MONTH ADVISE THAT THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF THE CANCELLATION, LOG IT AGAIN, AND THIS WAY EARN SOME EXTRA INCOME. IT IS DISGUSTING!!
I CAN HONESTLY WARN THE PUBLIC TO BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL OF THIS SERVICE PROVIDER!
