Towards the end of 2009 I took a 24 month contract from Virgin Mobile. After 30 months I called them and spke to one of theri consultants as I wanted to cancell my contract. I was told that the contract has been cancelled and indeed the following month my account was not debited. Six months down the line I started getting "Final demand" smses from Virgin Mobile informing me that I owe R580 (at some stage I was phoned by a debt collecter). I phoned Virgin Mobile asking why I was owing them when I had already cancelled my contract. I was told that they "will get back to me" and up until now they haven't and yet every month I still get the final demand sms. DONT GO FOR A VIRGIN MOBILE CONTRACT, THEY WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE A LIVING
