30 minutes waiting for no service

I've spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to answer my call to check when my contract will end. I cancelled it in store. When I finanlly get through to someone they tell me that I'm through to the wrong department (although I called the right number and selected the right option) and when I tell them that I am not prepared to go on hold again they hang up on me.
