BlackberryZ10 no 4G LTE: Upgrade runaround bungle

Eagerly awaited Blackberry z10. Delayed upgrading until Vodacom launch. Upgraded via call centre, on 23 February, chose a high end Red plan with LTE and expressly requested Blackberry Z10 LTE model. Delivered 26/2, had to do Simswap to micro sim, phone displays no 3G coverage at all only shows either H, h, E or e. Called Customercare told wait until migration happens & check signal on 1 March, problem persisted. Call customer care again no help, told to take phone to Vodacare, did so to Centurion. Tech desk had Absolutely no idea what was wrong guessed out of box failure (OBF). By now at wits end! call customer care told it will take 2 days to process & 14 days to retrieve problem phone in original packaging - & didn't know when they would pick up & deliver replacement, meantime I will have no phone! already did a sim swap to a micro sim! Have 2 weeks of intense travel, Very upset! call Vodacare again hoping for miracle, told that LTE is VAS and needs to be activated & takes 24 hrs. No luck after 24hrs. Did own Google search found they supplied wrong model phone not LTE model. Sheer incompetence! Why supply phone u don't know how to support!! Dreading calling 082111! AGAIN!!
