Call centre cannot block cell phone

I called the cellphone from my MTN contract phone and wanted to blobk my son's cell phone, unfortunately they gave me a security check and due to the questions being asked for example: how much airtime was last bought, do you know how much airtime was last used, they said I failed the security test, they could not block the phone. The operator told me that cannot block phones at the call centre and that I should go to an agency, this offcourse does not make sense as I had the imei number at hand and the slip where I bought the phone from. WHAT PATETIC SERVICE AND THE STAFF speak in Zulu just after you speak to them and thus make sure that you hear.
