IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE

On 13 Feb Vodacom contacted me to offer solution to my excessive cellphone data charge. Instead of advising me to buy data bundles, I was duped into accepting a 3G WiFi system for my home with sim cards. I ALREADY have uncapped WiFI at my home btw. I was told that if I wanted to return the product, I could do so within 7 days.
HOWEVER, I was turned away when I attempted to return the package at Vodacom stores and redirected to Customer Care. I have spent hours on hold on the (lack of) Customer Care line - 082 1950. I then responded by sending a detailed email request on 17 Feb to Customer Service asking HOW to go about returning the package. No response to date. Thereafter, I logged a service request (S3-SH92K-KM58E) at Vodacom on 21 Feb for them to get back to me and guide me on how to return the package. Finally on 28 Feb, I was told to contact contract cancellation on 082 1958. The number just rings! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT AN ORGANISATION THIS LARGE WITH OVER 130% MARKET PENETRATION IS IN SUCH DISARRAY THAT NO-ONE CAN DIRECT ME TO A SOLUTION! I have been IGNORED! Yet Vodacom was naturally able to notify me by SMS yesterday that the data contract is now active. CRIMINAL!
