In December 2013 I went to Dubai, UAE. For 4 and a half days my account ran up to over R9 000.00. I came back and was shocked. I launched an dispute only to be told that it was the background data running to update apps??? The they offered to give me R2 000 discount, I was very humbled by this and asked them that I pay the rest off in installments over 6 months.

Today I phoned to ask if my arrangement is still in place because I keep receiving smses and calls to pay R7 000 on my account!! They told me that they cannot find any arrangement and that I didn't phone them last month about this? They can have a look at my phone records if they don't believe me, REALLY!! They told me that they cannot help me for 6 months and that my lines had to be deleted and I'll have to reapply for my lines then? I have been a Vodacom client for years now with 3 lines and not your cheap subscriptions either!! I can promise Vodacom this, that if they cut my lines and try to take that full amount off my account (which they wont be able to do) I will sue them!! Last month no one said anything about deleting my lines!!
