I am very disappointed in the Caliber of service provided in your Emergency section, i was there early last night with my daughter who is pregnant and in her 1st trimester we waited for an hour to be assisted, only after i asked to be helped as she was bleeding a bit and in pain which i think is a real emergency the nurse in the triage room told her very rudely " i thought you were sitting in a pool of blood" what kind of person would say that to someone in pain and pregnant with their first child. She only took my daughter's urine and said the night nurse will take over. We waited and no one came the night nurse also had an attitude when i asked him why only one person is helping the patients as there were quite a few people in the waiting room and NO NURSES in sight to help but rather walking up and down. I'm appalled at this whole situation and feel like going to the press if that's what it will take for patients to be helped. In the end we had to go to Groote Schuur where we were helped immediately and with the staff was so friendly.
Please will you look into this matter and try to better your service.
