I am having lots of trouble with faulty Blackberry handsets TORCH and BOLD. More than 500km to and from Vodashop. Half a day of work every time to go there. So many paid calls to Vodacom, Vodashop, Repairs, Insurance and all the frustration to get to talk to an able person in those service departments.
Apparently a a R8000 month old Bold can get its motherboard rusted up from the sweat on your ear. After more than 15 years of handset experience and handling it was explained to me that I must be a sweaty person.
After many frustrations I made used of my insurance for a new phone. Vodfacom wants to replace it with a secondhand refurbished phone after I was told by Vodashop "BlackBerry do not get fixed it gives to much problems we replace them with new"
I send an email to the CEO Vodacom this morning explaining my frustration.. I will be waiting for my summons from Vodacom I am stopping payments from my account until the matter is resolved.
