I have been waiting for my ADSL line transfer since august last year told that there is no ADSL ports available!!
I then applied for the ADSL service through my business - I was then given an installation date of 15th February this year and no show from Telkom once I called and asked what happened I was told there are no ports available!!
every time I have called the call centre I have had different answers from being told I need to verify my details and and and - What I want is my ADSL line installed and if this can't be done a time line when it can?? I have escalated this to ICASA as well let's see if there is any help there?
Here are the 2 reference numbers I have 61977253A and 59110836A - I have an Telkom escalation number as well ARS 222685.
I speak to the Telkom people at the exchange nearly every day as I stay 500M away and the story they tell if different to the SYSTEM!!
