I find it utterly disgusting that I have to pay R150 to do a SIM swop. Firstly, as a contract customer, I believe that amount should be a lot less. It is utterly unfeasable that you can charge someone a R150 for a basic service when a pre-paid SIM won't even cost me a tenth of that. Second, when I asked the sales person why it was going to cost me a R150, she said that airtime was going to be loaded onto my account, seeing as I am a contract customer. When that didn't realise, I phoned the Cell C customer care line to find out, the lady could only tell me that price for a SIM swop varies between R30 and R150 and that it was up to the sales person to decide what to charge. How can that possibly be allowed? I'm extremely unsatisfied about this situation and demand an explanation.
