One of the staff members was too busy watching Chris Rock (on his pc on LOUD speaker) to help any of the customers entering the store. The other employee had a few customers to deal with. When it came to my turn, I bought a micro sim for my ipad. I asked when it would be activated which he said he didn't know. He then advised that VodaCom cannot transfer data bundles onto the sim as it is a new number and the system doesn't allow for this (new number being the 0606...) he said that I could do it by transferring the data myself by buying airtime etc. So he proceeded to give me the number (and all this time I was listening to Chris Rock and the other customers were waiting to be attended to). The following day when I tried to transfer the bundle it was giving me error messages. I managed to put the sim into a phone, just to find out the number that had been given to me by the staff was incorrect. How can staff members rather watch a comedian than actually work while there are customers waiting? And how can the VODACOM staff not be able to answer any questions on purchasing a new sim as well as provide the wrong telephone numbers for the new sim?
