I would like to bring forward the commendable service I received from Rebekah Johnson who works at Vodacare at Gateway.
I went to a different branch last month in which the guy who was supposed to port my number to Vodacom immediately apparently set it to port for two months after. I didn't bother to go back to that branch.
After many failed attempts to get this resolved through the phone I decided to go to Gateway in which I explained to Rebekah what had happened. She tried her very best to assist me where she could in the most polite manner but couldn't proceed as I didn't have proof of residence.
Of course I went back the next day in which I believe she went out her way to find an alternative solution to proceed with the porting as it had failed the first time she tried.
Technical details aside, as a customer I was more than pleased with the service received. Not only did she go beyond general expectations, she continued with such a caring nature explaining everything in detail and making sure I'm still okay whilst waiting.
Please may she be notified of my immense satisfaction.
